ClearGig
Terms of Service
Effective date: October 12, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") cover your use of ClearGig, which includes the ClearGig iPhone app, the Apple Watch companion app, the website at cleargig.app, and related support (together, the "Service"). ClearGig is operated by Hammock Life Ventures, LLC ("ClearGig," "we," "us," or "our").
Please read these Terms carefully. They include a disclaimer of warranties, a limitation of our liability, and a choice of Florida law.
1. Accepting these Terms
When you create an account, install the app, or otherwise use the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. Who can use ClearGig
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use ClearGig. When you use the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. What ClearGig does
ClearGig is a record-keeping tool for independent gig delivery drivers, including drivers on the Spark Driver platform. It lets you:
- track shifts, routes, trip numbers, earnings, and mileage;
- import screenshots from your delivery app, with text read on your phone without uploading the images; and
- view mileage reports and estimated mileage deductions.
4. Beta service
ClearGig is currently offered as beta software. During the beta:
- It's free. We don't charge for the Service during the beta. If we add paid features later, we'll tell you the price and terms before you're charged, and you can choose whether to sign up.
- Things will change. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed at any time, with or without notice.
- Data may be lost. Beta software can have bugs, and your data could be lost, corrupted, or become unavailable. Keep your own copies of any records that matter to you.
- It's provided "as is." The beta is offered for testing and feedback, with no promises about uptime, accuracy, or availability (see Section 12).
- Access can end. We may end the beta or your access to it at any time.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve ClearGig without owing you anything.
5. Your account and security
- Give us accurate information when you create your account, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your login details private. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- If you think someone else has used your account, contact us at admin@cleargig.app right away.
- Each account is for one person. Don't share it or transfer it to anyone else.
6. Acceptable use
When you use ClearGig, you agree not to:
- break any law or anyone else's rights, including privacy rights;
- import screenshots or other content you're not allowed to share, or that contain other people's personal information you're not permitted to store (see our Privacy Policy);
- access or try to access another person's account or data;
- interfere with, disrupt, overload, or try to bypass the security of the Service;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the app, except where the law allows it;
- use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools on the Service without our permission;
- resell or commercially exploit the Service, or use it to build a competing product; or
- use ClearGig in a way that breaks the terms of any delivery platform you work with.
Drive safely. Don't use ClearGig on your phone or Apple Watch in a way that distracts you while driving. Follow all traffic and phone-use laws. Your safety and the safety of others comes before logging a trip.
7. Your content and data
You own your data. Routes, trips, earnings, mileage entries, screenshots, and anything else you add to ClearGig ("Your Content") stay yours.
To run the Service, you give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, process, copy, and display Your Content, but only to provide, maintain, secure, support, and improve ClearGig for you. This license ends when Your Content is deleted from our systems, except for limited records we keep as described in our Privacy Policy.
You're responsible for Your Content, and you confirm you have the right to add it to ClearGig.
Editing, deleting, and restoring. You can edit or delete records in the app through Manage records in Profile. Recently Deleted allows recovery within 7 days of deletion. Account deletion is separate: it has no seven-day recovery window. See Section 11 and our Privacy Policy for details.
How we collect, use, and protect your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
8. Not tax, legal, or financial advice
ClearGig is a record-keeping tool. It does not give tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice.
- Mileage totals, earnings summaries, deduction estimates, and other figures in ClearGig are estimates. They depend on what you enter or import, how screenshot text is read, and the assumptions the app uses, and they may be incomplete or wrong.
- Text read from screenshots can contain mistakes. Check imported data against your original records.
- You are responsible for keeping accurate records, for checking every figure, and for your own tax filings and any other reports you submit.
- Rules for deductions and record-keeping change and depend on your situation. Talk to a qualified tax professional before relying on any ClearGig figure for taxes or other financial decisions.
We are not responsible for any taxes, penalties, interest, or other losses that result from relying on figures from ClearGig.
9. Third-party platforms and no affiliation
ClearGig is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Spark Driver, Walmart, or any other delivery platform. Spark, Spark Driver, Walmart, and other names and logos mentioned in the app or on our website are trademarks of their owners, and we use them only to describe what ClearGig works with.
ClearGig doesn't control third-party platforms or their apps. We aren't responsible for their services, their data, their terms, or changes they make that affect how ClearGig works (for example, changes to screenshot layouts that affect imports). Your relationship with any delivery platform is between you and that platform, and you are responsible for following its terms.
10. Apple license and distribution terms
The ClearGig app is licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These Terms govern the ClearGig Service in addition to that app license and do not replace Apple's standard EULA.
Apple's applicable App Store terms also apply when you obtain the app through the App Store. If you obtain a beta version through TestFlight, Apple's applicable TestFlight terms also apply.
Questions, complaints, or support requests about ClearGig should go to Hammock Life Ventures, LLC at admin@cleargig.app.
11. Termination and account deletion
You can leave at any time. In Profile, you can select Delete my account. As described in the app, this permanently removes your ClearGig routes, mileage, earnings, Recently Deleted items, and saved account data from this phone. This cannot be undone and has no seven-day recovery window. Reports already exported or shared and original photos in your Photos library remain under your control. You can also email admin@cleargig.app with account or data deletion requests. Our Privacy Policy describes any limited retention by the service.
We can suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if your use creates risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we end the beta or stop offering the Service. Where reasonable, we'll try to let you know first.
Sections that by their nature should continue after termination will continue. These include Sections 7 (as to retained records), 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, and 16.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent allowed by law, ClearGig is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. These include warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and accuracy. We don't promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of data loss, or that any figures, estimates, or imported text will be accurate or complete.
Some places don't allow certain warranty disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law:
- Hammock Life Ventures, LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost earnings, lost data, tax penalties or interest, or other similar losses, arising from or related to the Service or these Terms, even if we were told such damages were possible.
- Our total liability for all claims related to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) US $50. During the free beta, (a) is $0.
Some places don't allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Indemnity
To the extent allowed by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Hammock Life Ventures, LLC against claims, losses, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that arise from your misuse of the Service, Your Content, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example as ClearGig moves out of beta. When we do, we'll post the new version at cleargig.app/terms and update the effective date. If the changes are significant, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know, such as an in-app notice or an email. If you keep using ClearGig after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute related to these Terms or the Service will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we consent to those courts' jurisdiction. This doesn't take away any consumer protection rights that you can't waive under the laws where you live.
17. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the full agreement between you and us about the Service.
- Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- No waiver. If we don't enforce a provision right away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
